Wednesday 20th July 2011
8am - 11am with networking breakfast
Exeter Phoenix,
Bradninch Place, Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS
Why Energy management makes both business and financial sense
Fuel and energy rationing will be needed before 2020 according to the Lean Economy Report. Fuel prices continue to rise and businesses continue to struggle against the ever increasing bottom-line. However there is opportunity in adversity:
"30% of Energy organisations buy is wasted"
Ask any business if they would like to save money and the answer will be obvious but a large proportion of businesses don’t have the knowledge of where to start or how to fund energy efficiency. This networking event will give you the knowledge of how to identify, prioritise and action the measures to save you energy and save you money.
"UK business is missing out on £6.4bn of resource efficiency/low carbon savings” Oakdene Hollins, DEFRA
Offering practical tips, expert knowledge and the tools and resources to manage your energy easily and effectively and how to engage staff in good energy management, this event will help you reduce your costs, reduce your risks and improve your business strength.
Attendees will also be guided through the Energy sections of their Carbon Utilities Tracker. This tool, free for all Full Members, enables easy carbon and utilities tracking and reporting within your organisation. Helping you to identify savings and calculate paybacks.
